The SMA-120 floor mat alarm is always activated for patient safety, preventing staff from forgetting to turn it on (meets Joint Commission guidelines). The monitor is equipped with multiple alarm volume settings (80, 90, 120 dB), alarm tone selection, a nurse call interface, and an in-room sound on/off switch. It is intended to be used with the MAT-1 floor mat sensor to form a complete set. Secure® alarm monitors are specifically designed to detect unsafe bed and chair egress, wandering, and elopement. The product comes with a one-year warranty.

  • 120 dB Floor Mat Fall Alarm Monitor is always on for resident safety – impossible for staff to forget to activate the monitor (Meets Joint Commission guidelines)
  • Must be paired with the MAT-1 Floor Mat Sensor to complete a set
  • The alarm volume can be set to either 80, 90, or 120 decibels.
  • The nurse call interface enables integration with existing facility nurse call systems. (requires NCI-1 nurse call cable)
  • When connected to a facility’s nurse call system, the in-room alarm sound can be turned off to provide a more peaceful environment.
  • An optional ACDC-1 power supply can be used to power the alarm monitor instead of batteries. 
  • The package includes mounting hardware for wall installation.
  • All settings are hidden by the tamper-resistant covers.
  • When the batteries are low on power, the caregiver is alerted by both a sound and a light indicator.
  • Caregivers can quickly identify the activated alarm monitor with the help of the flashing alert light.
